Leaders get involved in the lives of young people. Whether it be through sport, listening or sharing what is important to young people. Our Young Life Leaders help young people think about the direction they want to take in their lives and give them hope for the future.
Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds. They are a diverse mix of mothers and fathers, students, professionals, retirees, or other adults who want the best for the young people. The diversity of our volunteers helps us make a lasting difference in so many different young people from different backgrounds. Often our Young Life leaders get more back than what they have invested in young people.

Each Young Life area has a committee. These are adults who believe and support the Young Life vision: to introduce Jesus to young people and help them grow in their faith. In the committee you will find adults from many different backgrounds, professions, denominations and also a lot of mothers and fathers who have a heart for adolescents. A committee that also includes parents, former Young Life youth and often city caregivers provides a base of financial, administrative and emotional support for the local Young Life team.
Areas in which you can invest include the prayer team, events, fundraising, staff support, networking and logistical support.

Would you like to get involved in the public Christian youth work in Munich? Are you looking for a challenging year that will help you personally and for your professional future? Do you enjoy being together with children and young people? Then you are just right with us!
TASKS
At the Lukasschule:
Work with children in the lunchtime care of a Christian school in Munich / help in the secretary's office / support of the teachers through e.g. remedial teaching, substitution in case of illness
With Young Life:
Helping to plan and accompany camps and events, organizational activities
WE PROVIDE
Character building / Discovering new gifts / Seminars / Time to think about your professional future and much more / Financial compensation under the FSJ
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Regular working hours from 8.00 - 16.30 (40 hours a week), Fridays shorter, some work in the evening & weekend / Monday-Friday: hot lunch
